A 7-day cultural and culinary journey through Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara. Alongside the principal monuments, guests visit bazaars and bakeries, prepare plov, meet a local family and taste regional products that explain how food, trade and hospitality shaped the Silk Road.

Tour Plan

Arrival in Tashkent, airport transfer, hotel check-in and time to rest. Welcome dinner with traditional Uzbek dishes.

Breakfast at the hotel. Explore the old city, including the Khast-Imam complex, Barak-Khan Madrasa and Chorsu Bazaar. Taste seasonal fruit, non bread, samsa, dried fruit and local sweets at Chorsu Bazaar. Join a hands-on plov cooking class with a local chef and share the prepared meal.

Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Samarkand by high-speed train and transfer to the hotel. Visit Registan Square and its three monumental madrasas. Discover Gur-e-Amir, the mausoleum of Amir Timur and the Timurid dynasty. Taste local wines at a historic Samarkand winery.

Breakfast at the hotel. Walk through the blue-tiled necropolis of Shah-i-Zinda. Visit Bibi-Khanum Mosque and browse the colourful Siab Bazaar. Visit a neighbourhood bakery to see how Samarkand bread is shaped and baked in a tandir. Visit Konigil village for a demonstration of traditional Samarkand paper-making.

Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Bukhara by train and transfer to the old city hotel. Arrival in Bukhara, hotel check-in and an evening walk around Lyabi-Hauz. Enjoy free time and an evening atmosphere around Lyabi-Hauz.

Breakfast at the hotel. Walk through the Po-i-Kalyan ensemble, trading domes, Magoki-Attori Mosque and Lyabi-Hauz. Visit the Ark Citadel and Bolo-Hauz Mosque. Prepare a regional dish with a local family and learn about Bukhara’s culinary traditions.
